Hey, I'm so glad that my photos stirred up the pot! LOL Then again, I'm sure some of us took some time to read up on the stretched tire topic a bit. This is definitely a part of the show car scene for several of the car groups that attended yesterday and all over. Large car club groups attended such as Team Elite Performance and they won for best participation by a club. Lee, the guy with the beastly Vette was part of that group which was all over my area, but when they saw me parking by them, Lee came over and said to me, "Nice Z car" and he mentioned the National G Club, some of whom I've met at other events. We shook hands and started BSing about cars, it was all good. When he started that thing and gave it the goose, holy crap was that thing loud! And the crowds started forming around it.
Anyhow, it was a good chance for me to meet some other car enthusiasts and spend some time seeing cars I'm not used to seeing much.

You can make a car look like a race car if you want... but while showboating it, if you make crap up or give people "advice"... thats what becomes annoying.

It was a general statement... it was directed at that specific cars owner or anything.

One good example of the nonsense...
Brake Tech - Brake Rotors and Track Use "Slotted, drilled or dimpled rotors offered as OEM replacements should not be considered appropriate for high-speed track use. While grooved, drilled and slotted rotors offer an enhanced appearance and add some resistance to the boundary layer of gasses that can build up between the pad and rotor, they are not designed to withstand the extreme temperatures that are produced on the racetrack. If they are used on the track, it is very important that the rotors be carefully inspected and should not be driven on if even minor signs of deterioration are seen. Note, too, that if these products are used on the track they are not warrantable." ![]()

Guys there are 23 spots left for ZDayZ registration. Once those fill up anyone that registers after will have to eat outside of the rec center.
