Time for a... MAZOC Presidential Directive!

In an effort to get the weekly meet thread back on topic, I've started an official MAZOC Off-Topic thread here: http://www.the370z.com/mid-atlantic-...ml#post2301138

I ask that we all move our off topic banter to that thread and keep this meet thread to discussions about weekly meets (or special events) only. This will make it easier for us to find meetup details, discuss who is coming to a meet, etc. It will also make it a little friendlier to the newbies just wanting to check out their first meet... you all know that we can be a tough group to just be dropped right into given how over the top we can get.

I also ask that we keep all other standalone MAZOC meetup threads on topic too. This will make it easier for the organizers to manage the event planning and makes it easier for us to figure out exactly what is going on. We have a tendency to derail threads very quickly.

I am not pointing fingers at anyone, and I will not deny that I am right there with many of you guys in derailing meet threads... often times my own! I just think that going forward it will be better for the group if we try our best to keep on-topic threads as on-topic as possible.

This doesn't mean we can't joke around a bit, but we just can't let ourselves derail a thread or whip out the :facepalm:'s, :gtfo2:'s, :superghey:'s, etc.

I'll miss next week's FFx meeting as well, as I'm sure I'll be scrambling to get my "act together" for an early Sunday morning departure to ZDayZ 2013!

As we keep extending the days of this trip (and I'm NOT complaining), it becomes MORE of a challenge to fit everything in that small compartment I have for a "trunk"......:icon17:

The next scheduled meets are Fairfax (May 11) and Columbia (May 18).

These meets are "cancelled" since many of us will be away at ZDayZ. Those that aren't attending ZDayZ can still show up if they like, but it's a good idea to check in for a head count before making the drive.

The normal meet schedule will pick up on May 25th in Fairfax. I've invited some folks from Cristobal's VT club and some of Dana's local Focus ST members, so I'm hoping we can get a nice showing of "Z's and friends" for this one.

Later in the afternoon Shahid is heading up the MAZOC Fast & Furious 6 viewing and Cheesecake Factory dinner in Columbia for a FFX/Columbia double header. :tup:

Yup that's the plan, though I won't be going to FFX myself in the morning.

** The Meet in the morning of the 25th is not a "Traditional" FFX meet, it's a Veloster/Z/ST meet being organized with the Veloster guys from the Skyline Drive cruise.

Yeah I'm not really sure how much interest it's there right now but the VT cruise we tagged along on went real well so I figured it would be nice to invite them to come to one of our meets.

It may just turn into a normal meet but if we do get some of them to show up it would be cool to have a bunch of our z's for them to check out.

Then FF6 for us in the evening... Oh myyyy.

The question is what do we do in the time between FFX meet and FF6... ;)

Saturday the 25th = Fairfax at 10AM, normal meet.

Later in that day is the Columbia FF6 viewing / Dinner meet that Shahid is organizing. These are two separate events.
