there was a campground at the base of the dam across the river from where we were taking pictures. I believe this to be the TVA campground at the link provided. Looks like $16.00 per night to pitch a tent.

As long as you have access to showers I don't mind. If you smell up the group though...

You going to camp there in May? I camp all the time up in skyline drive, backcountry camping. I may just have to look into that since all the rooms are booked.
