ZDayZ is quickly approaching! Remember next Tuesday, the 8th of May, is the last day to register for the caravan. So if you plan on coming and hanging out with us please be sure to get registered so we have an accurate head count and I can get all the cruise information e-mailed out.

We are getting close to go time, guys.
Regarding food, last year we all brought stuff that we kind of pooled up and shared. Basically, bring enough for yourself and then some and it all sort of works out. I figured it'd be a good time to re-open this for discussion just to make sure we're all covered. Jon & Pat have a charcoal grill they are bringing. I picked up another one as well, sort of a small one, but I think we should be good to go on grills. Both of us will be bringing charcoal as well. I'll also be bringing some beef hot dogs and burger patties, buns, chips, and some paper plates & utensils. |
i wanna use grill!

You should be able to hit it on the way in.
We stop at this grocery store called Ingles Market. The address is: Ste 76, 19 Hughes Branch Road Bryson City, NC 28713 |
if you guys come up with ideas for lunch's or dinners etc, lemme know too to participate in ingredients etc.

So Mazoc usually sticks together for the entire event. The night we arrive Jon (ZCarMan) and his wife Pat graciously provide a steak & baked potato dinner for the cruise participants to top off our caravan down. Then for all subsequent lunches and dinners we all kind of supply our own food + extras to share. We grill at the cabin and end up with a ton of food for everyone to go to town on.
Obviously on Friday and Saturday we have the banquet dinners at the rec center, but the other dinners and lunches are sort of a collective effort. If you plan on joining us my recommendation is just to bring what you would like to throw on the grill to eat and a little extra to share. We always seem to end up with an excess of food but it works out nicely. Its like a full week of Thanksgiving... lots to eat! |
damn me want steak! but ill be up on wednesday.

Maybe we should start a thread about who's bringing what food/supplies? This way we have enough for the week and don't overload on certain things.

Anyways, if you bring enough for yourself, plus maybe a little extra, we should be good. I'm sure at the grocery store stop on the cruise we'll be able to coordinate a bit and make sure we have everything. |

Btw, just got off the phone with Tony's friend and ZCAR member Chris. He will be joining the caravan. Because he's coming out of Richmond he will link up with us at the Cracker Barrel brunch stop.
