Just because we're south of the Mason-Dixon line doesn't mean we bang animals... :shakes head:

You're right. We bang them for other reasons.

Fire 05-08-2012 01:24 PM

I heard you guys dress up in animal costumes at night at the show LOL

Lou brings his panda suit, but you don't mess with the panda.

Fire 05-08-2012 01:31 PM

Don't say no to the panda.

m4a1mustang 05-08-2012 08:56 PM

I just e-mailed the cruise briefing document to everyone. If you didn't receive it let me know (and pm me your e-mail address so I can make sure I have the right one) and I'll send it to you.

m4a1mustang 05-13-2012 01:23 PM

Dana and I stocked up on a bunch of stuff at Target. I have no idea how we fit it all in the S2000.

We are good on the following items:
Chips (we got 6 bags -- classic lays, lays bbq, sour cream & onion, cooler ranch doritos)
Bottled water (2 cases)
Paper Plates (124 Dixie sturdy)
Plastic Cups (~50 red solo)
144pc plastic utensil set
Paper napkins

Other stuff we got that you might want to get more of:

2 citronella candles
Matchlight charcoal (we got enough for our small grill but we'll need more for Jon's)
Bug spray

We also got two new chairs and will be bringing two extras.

daisuke149 05-13-2012 01:58 PM

if you guys want i can bring up some charcoal.

for one of my BBQ's i picked up the kroger brand charcoal, lighted easier, burned hotter and lasted 2x as long as the branded versions. was awesome and cheaper.

**** i almost forgot a chair again.

m4a1mustang 05-13-2012 04:32 PM

A bag of charcoal would be good. Better to have more than you need than not enough.

I checked the Accuweather hourly forecast for Tuesday. Looks like we'll be meeting up in the rain. We should get out of the rain somewhere between Harrisonburg and Christiansburg, and from there we should have pretty decent weather all the way to Fontana.

Fire 05-13-2012 04:35 PM

:shakes head: m4 I thought you knew better. Accuweather is an oxymoron. They should call it a blind guess with no guarantee. :bowrofl:

Just washed and detailed the Z -- "THERE WILL BE NO RAIN"......almost packed (at least the electronics) -- "THERE WILL BE NO RAIN".........

Fire 05-13-2012 04:50 PM

Sscottfitz Doesn't take long to pack when we have as small of a trunk as we do.

That is VERY true -- especially true when attempting to pack for two.....luckily this is our 3rd year, so we almost got it figured out......:icon17: Thanks mostly to Jay for taking the stuff I just couldn't fit.......

OBTW: "THERE WILL BE NO RAIN".....

Fire 05-13-2012 05:01 PM

I'm going to Carlisle with my father. We each take a small bag, 2 folding chairs, detail products in a bucket, and toiletries and that's about all the room we have. Oh cell phone, gps with home and car chargers, and a small camera.

Pat and I made the run up to Costco and bought all the steaks. Just need to pack up tomorrow after work. I'm with Steve, "There will be no rain". Hopefully.

Sounds about right -- soft sided bags are the key for us -- especially for stashing stuff behind the seats!.....AND friends with Maximas (a.k.a. "Stretch Z's........)

I almost thought you weren't going to be joining us this year. Glad that you'll be able to make it down.

This is a re-print from last year's MAZOC pre-CruiZe poem with some very minor edits and an added section in honor of "Cabin 660"...... Re-printed with permission from the author...:tiphat:

==============================================
With thoughts of the Dragon, tucked in their heads
The “MAZOC’ians” regretfully headed straight for their beds
For they knew they faced a very long day
Of CruiZing to the place where four days they would play

Visions of Z's from years past to today
Of runs of the Dragon, and the Cherohala Skyway
Of car shows, great mods, babes, and beer pong
And mostly of parties that will last all night long

We all look forward to time at “Cabin six sixty”
The food and the drinks, and the stories a plenty
Mostly tales of conquest & bravery on the Dragon that day
Of near misses, smoked brakes – and opportunities for more play

The MAZOC CruiZers, all prepared, ready to go
Cars all lined up, for a smooth steady flow
But first boys and girls you must all sleep tight
See you all in the morning, To all a good night
