Hey Trooper do you have any experience with the M&P shield? i am looking at that and the walther PPQ for a designated carry and at 399 the M&P just might be to much of a deal to pass on.

Not the shield no. Isn't it almost identical to the M&P, or it's just a compact version?

I hear good things about the Walther PPQ though, that's actually on my wishlist

i believe it is and is more of a compact ver but i think it is even slimmer than the PPQ which is ont of the reasons i am interested for ccw

Just picked up a Beretta CX4 storm yesterday! Been waiting for months for this one. Apparently they are on limited availability until 2013.

Has anyone had any experience with the Ruger 10/22 takedown? the utility purpose the rifle provides being a takedown intrigues me and has really got me thikning about picking one up this weekend
