Unfortunately, I was looking around last night and discovered that Remington has some pretty good rebates going on right now ($150 gift card) on rifles with scopes. A Remington 700 CDL is pretty high on my list. Might start with the rifle and then apply the gift card against the pistol. Or not.

Cool man, thats awesome. I have the Remington 870, which is the 12 gauge shotgun, Remington usually offers those nice rebates. As far as pistols, Im a Glock fan, I got the 26 (small 9mm) and the 27 (small 40 cal.).

Whatever you decide to do, keep me posted, you're pretty close to me in the DC area, we could hit up the range if you want. I could help you out, show you a couple things.
