The range might not know/care, but if I got pulled over on my way, I'd be f***ed!

The only time I could go through MD with my guns is if I'm travelling through. Then I'm protected by the federal transport law.

Bring the 5.0 inside the range and say you're just traveling through. You can practice your drive-by shooting GTA style

I think thats the reason for you breaking them down, and then reassembling them. Just for that purpose, if you did get pulled over.

Yeah I think it's better to not risk it until you're 100% certain you will be ok.

I'm pretty sure I can't bring them. I am on a VA gun forum and the consensus is pretty clear that under no circumstances are we ever allowed to bring our guns into MD. It's alright, I don't have a problem renting or borrowing.

Absolutely, I agree. But that jsut doesnt make any sense. Thats why we call and ask questions to the right people and find out.
