As I recall, there ARE some Thursday events but I thought they were Thursday evening -- sort of a social mixer.....

I'd estimate given the route we're gonna have to take, food & fuel stops, Good Citizen Zpeed limits, etc., we're going to be in for about a 9~10 hr CruiZ -- but hey, that's good "Zeat Time"

The only thing going on Thursday is the airport run and that's not even anywhere close to Fontana Villiage.

So I tried a little harder to get the film on more cleanly -- still looks like crap. It would blend in pretty well on a white or silver car, but it's really tough to get it on cleanly on darker colors.

I still think I'm going to use it, though, becuase I don't want to be wiping off bugs when we get there.

Wonder what its gonna look like on black...shouldn't be too bad. Oh well...its better than living with bug stains in my clear coat again like the last trip I took.

I have the option to take Monday off as well, so if someone wants to linger and do some other cool stuff, please let me know. If not, coming back Sunday works for me.

Haha! Some of that white film that the factory puts on the cars for transport would probably have looked better.

I'm actually going to look for some red painter's tape (if there is such a thing) today. If I can lay down the film and then tape it off it might look ok.

The front of my car is too far gone to even consider this unless I paint it. When I do get it repainted, I'll probably do it.

I'll bring my Motorola Talkabouts on Sat so we can confirm channels/freqs. Also thinkin about doing up a mobile phone matrix so we have alternate communications unless we get outside the talkabout ranges, etc.
