OUCH? Must not of been TOO much over if it was only a buck-forty -- but I'm sure it sucked none the less. Sorry to hear about the ticket, but glad you made it home safely.

He clocked me at 73 in a 55. These two trucks were side by side going slow down this huge hill....and they were closing in on an RV (3 lanes) which would have pinched me off....so I speed up to pass them and the instant I cleared them coming around a bend he was sitting there. Looked down...knew I was ******...he pulled out...I started pulling over before the blues even went on lol. He was really nice about it though, he dropped it to 64 in a 55....which is just a 15 dollar fine but like 130 in court costs..so he helped me out a bit.


I should also mention it's a speed trap....the speed limit went from 70 (maybe 65) to 55 just for this hill. So it was a double whammy.

Edit: Ticket says R 73 S for speed...so assuming that radar 73...something.

Na Tony wasn't with me. I don't know if he managed to leave before or what, but I didn't see his car anywhere when I looked for him this morning.

Oh and yeah, the trooper level was CRAZY!!!

Hey Guys! We made it home about 4:30PM. Rick, sorry I didn't get a picture of you but Pat tried. We just didn't know you were going to be posing so soon after you said that! Sorry you had to donate that much as well. We saw several troopers on the way back but not as bad as you guys were talking about! Oh by the way, moonshine dot com has photos of Lance, Steve, Rick, Omar, and myself up from the 22nd. For some reason I didn't see Steve and Deb. Maybe I missed it. I viewed the Dragon video and it came out really nice. I'll burn some DVDs and give each one of you a copy if you like. I know Omar also had Steve's GoPro so I'm hoping I can get a copy of that too. We had a blast and are already looking forward to next year! So, now where is Tony???

Not sure about Tony! He's probably looking for someone to drive his car to I-81. ;-)

Hi guys! I saw three of you on I-26 near the NC/TN state line today. (I think it was you guys anyway) A white convertible, silver Nismo, and a red coupe behind it. Looked AWESOME!!! They looked so good rolling by like that. You don't ever see 370's around here so I had to do a double-take!

I was one of the NC Troopers you saw. I had a black Impala stopped on I-26 near MM3 against the inside median barrier.

Cars looked GREAT!

BTW -- I had a great time, guys. Can't wait for next year. This weekend really reminded me why I got the Z... badass!

The drive back was a bit of a chore... VA State Police were out in force! In many instances they were doubled up at the "authorized vehicles only" crossovers.

Omar broke off from Steve and I after we got onto 81N from 26. I stuck with Steve for about 100 miles 'til he had to pull off to put the top up. Somewhere around MM 270 I was caught by four 350s from NY. One of them was "Z Medic." It was pretty cool -- they pulled up and I rolled down my window and the waived, kind of like, "ok, it's a 370 waving at us..." then I flashed my ZDayZ badge and they realized I was cruizing home too... rode with them for a couple miles 'til I let them take off into the distance. Nice day.

I saw you catch up to me on 81 right as I was getting off on exit 109 for Radford. I don't know why I was ahead of you... guess you stopped for a bit!

Lolz, ya I'm fine thanks for asking I just had to stop for the restroom. But it was fun, I liked the drive back down and it was nice too meet everyone.

LOL I had to go really bad but to my surprise was able to hold it until I exited at 109. I cut it close, though.
