Making my pops feel useful today. Working with him (being told what to do and how to do it

) to build him a new table for his workshop so he can work on his WWII battleship models.

Its the least I can do for him after I smashed all the german airplanes out of the sky with a yard stick when I was really young

Now that he is retired I had him pick models back up as a hobby.

I had those balsa wood models when young also...set many of them on fire........

Yeah, he actually had a minor stroke and heart attack a while back so he needs something to do to keep busy but isn't going to kill him

This keeps his hand eye coordination and as you said other motor skills a bit of a work out.
