I have been the recipient of "the finger" once.
I was driving in a 75MPH zone on the interstate, cruise control on 85MPH. I came up on a WRX that, at my present velocity of 85MPH, I passed rather quickly. As I pulled past the driver's window, I noticed that they were giving me the one finger salute.
