I used to have the Iphones. They work well, but as anyone who has jailbroken their iphone knows, apple has way way to tight of a grip on the OS

I used to have the Iphones. They work well, but as anyone who has jailbroken their iphone knows, apple has way way to tight of a grip on the OS they put on these phones.

IMO essentially by jailbreaking the Iphone you move towards a more open source android type platform.

And I'd be concerned about that if there was anything that I need my iPhone to do that it doesn't do. The trade-off is a very uniform platform that just works. No surprises, no incompatibilities, it just works.
