Be careful. The construction of the slab on grade in a typical home may not be able to handle the forces involved. You may need to remove a piece of your slab on grade and install a proper footing.
I am having visions of someone bolting the lift to a 2" slab and having the whole thing fail and kill someone. |

Do your homework on your garage floor first.If you go to their website, they go into detail on the type of slab needed. They even show the math. All you need is 4" and no cracks. 4" is code here, but YMMV depending on location. I lucked out and it ended up being located on a 24" thick part of the slab.
