ya i never had any problems with any generation until this xbox1.
my xbox360 elite has been going strong since like 2007/ 2008.
i feel like they released this generation a little too early, before all the bugs could get worked out.

see i dont think it's a hardware problem at all. its mostly the interface is flawed. my buddy actually got the invite to beta test the updated one they plan on implementing soon.
