BUT on that note, are you referring to the virtual buttons on the touch pad vs actual buttons? I've had limited time on the new touchpad (my wife has one) but I haven't had any issues when I do use it. I rarely use touch pads anyhow, never really liked them so I have a wireless mouse on all my laptops.

ahhhh, so you're more like mr.onzedge speciality  my wife's expertise is in smaller business networks and programming.
yah, the virtual buttons. i hear hardcore thinkpad users dont like that because they are more accustomed to the red pointer and the mechanical switches.
i read all these negative reviews on my computer and im like  works great for me.
