 that's good.
in our household wife and i dont pay out of our allowance (per se) for daily task gas money.  also the car usage reimbursement from her company is very generous especially when the Fit gets like 35mpg highway, and regular gas.
it can definitely cover maintenance costs like materials for oil changes and air filters and such.
