Kanban, 5 S, 5 Why, single minute die exchange's, Poke Yoke -- all came from Toyota...

i completely agree. their manufacturing processes and vision is very impressive.

Toyota Quality Assurance > Nuclear Quality Assurance

Frustrating to be trained extensively in toyota system then work in NQA ...

Agree. Their cars ard very plain but the simplicity seems to work. I also think the entire design dept at Lexus should be fired. The new IS exterior design is a step in the wrong direction and the only car their corporate grille looks good on is the GS and LS. The Acura ugly seems to have rubbed off on Lexus and that disappoints me.

yah, they have that nuclear silo theme going. so buttugly indeed.

while the accord sedan looks very conservative, i think it looks great.
