The clutch also uses brake fluid? Only asking cause I haven't changed mine.....

Yup. I actually have ATE Super Blue in the brake system now. By the time I changed the clutch fluid, the USA government, in its infinite wisdom, outlawed the product based solely on the color of the fluid. So I used Motul. I will also use it the next time I bleed the brakes.

right on good to know

whenever any clutch or tranny work has been needed for any of my past cars I always just sent it into a shop

anything else I will tackle like the brakes, exhaust, suspension, fuel system and other general bolt ons but never anything with the tranny……

Bought it from Z1 - $17 and it's yours.

Should they have used two for my bleed or does one actually suffice?

Sounds good though I think I found it cheaper at Woods Fun Center of all places. I'll take yours.

One bottle should be plenty. You almost never need a full bottle for a single job. That's one of the main reasons I liked the ATE Super Blue - it came in a metal container and could be stored for a long period of time. The plastic bottles allow moisture to get into the bottle over time and moisture is the enemy of brake fluid. Often you have to throw them out sooner than you need them again.

yah, imo sport brakes are A LOT easier to do pad replacement for sure. no issue, just keep buying cars with the big calipers.

Mr.kenchan... finished the R/C stuffs already, finally got all the electronics settled on both cars, motors are mounted and gear ratio is chosen, but the gear ration is only a starting reference, still have to change it on Sunday after seeing how does it actually feel on the track.

I just got back from driving the Z safely through her first ice experience

It's about 26F and raining freezing rain in the hill country. The only ice encountered was at Mansfield Dam but very manageable at a reasonable speed. She had a nice sheet of ice on the pillars, windshield, mirrors and hips. We'll see what tomorrow brings. Good night all
