Still does the job. I have a buddy who still rocks his OG Hero and it honestly is just fine. Obviously its big and bulky and there is a few differences in quality, but it wasnt as bad as I was expecting. I bought 3 of the black editions.. (overkill) lol

yah, the hero2's okay for me. ive done so much mic testing on it

i want to keep it for a few more years.

One was a gift actually now that I think about it. All my friends are cheap so I stick a few on there cars, or if we are out riding I will have them get some video of me. They were worth it IMO.

Nice. I was lucky enough to win one at the knees mo driving performance event, but its a white version so I'm going to sell that and get the black version when the hero 4 comes out hopefully soon.

Hey Ken , what was your mic and mount setup for the hero2? I know the mount was off the headrest post, but don't recall the particulars of that or the mic.

the best solution was to use my tascam digital recorder, but the soso decent setup direct mic-in is the olympus ME51S

i have a windcutter stormchaser on it, and clipped onto the owner's manual door behind the passenger seat.
the mic comes with a metal clip so i used one of my sony mic clips as they are plastic and dont scuff the
owner's manual door of the Z.
