so got this cheepo with the round recessed bite on order.

perfect for clamping down on these taps...

my regular slip joint has a flat bite area so not as good as these recessed ones for this kind of work.

Mr.kenchan... not in a million years would I think you would find Scotch Locks acceptable to use on one of your own vehicles. Maybe you're doing some wiring on your neighbours Prius? In that case

hey there EW. im not working on anything at the moment, but i use those taps often and each time im thinking my regular pliers wants to slip out before i can lock the tap.

i was in the basement working on something the other week, i looked at my tool box for the house and found i had that exact pair. worked great.

so got a pair for the garage.

was a pita to unbox and fold boxes and packing material into the taffyapple bin.
