The rim will cost somewhere around $250 US to replace. Looks do not matter on the repair, as the dent is on the "inside" of the rim. One will never see where the dent is. I just wondered it if was repairable to the point of functioning. I will get a pic of the actual dent up tomorrow when there is light. The roads here are horrible, and that SUV coming in my direction didn't allow me a lot of wiggle room lol. Shipping it out would not be a very economic option most likely. I didn't know if body/rim shops could repair things such as this. We have a Rimco in town, but I've never had to have a rim repaired. It was pretty frightening when it hit... Took all I had to keep the car out of the ditch and get it stopped before the tire shredded.
