I guess this must be a first wedding? My first wife was very materialistic and I am very glad to be rid of that one! If the future wife would have a problem with the size of any ring he buys her then she is not the right one to begin with. My second wife of 13 years doesn't even have a ring.

Again she really isn't the materialistic one, he is. And he wants to show off. Rightly so I guess(?)
