I just got off the phone with Nissan to verify my registration. The rep was able to clarify a few things.

The day will be broken down into "modules", in two of which the registrants and their guest drive the registrant's car. At any point in the module, the guest can drive the registrant's car. Unfortunately, the guest is not allowed to take their own car out on the track.

For the remainder of the modules, the guests will have the same access to the Nissan vehicles - GT-R, 370Z Nismo, and Juke Nismo. We will all get a chance to take the three cars out during the other modules.

Sounds like this is going to be a blast!

The rep stressed three times to be there no later than 7:30 am to register as the program starts at 8:00 am sharp.

See you guys on Saturday.
I get to drive a GTR?! If so, Mike, I love you!

Are you gonna have your Z, Mike? If not, I am wondering if it might be possible to register my Z as your car. I plan to have it ready regardless, but it's no big deal either way. If we can, great; if not, I'm sure I'll have plenty of fun riding with you or Matt as well as driving the other Nissan cars

I plan to be there no later than 7 am

IKR!! I'm trying to figure out what kind of gift I need to send these two guys home with... a nice bottle of wine or a gift card of some sort, maybe

mr.JAR - I got my car back last night and will be driving it. I'm not sure swapping cars like that is even an option as they know the VIN on mine.

And ms. pint is correct - you guys will be driving the GT-R, Nimso Z and Nismo Juke. Hopefully, that will make up for not getting to drive your car this weekend.

However, talk to Guru this weekend about the upcoming WEC event at COTA in August. He's working a sweet deal for Nissan owners that will definitely interest you (Shhhh! That's a secret).

As far as gifts - absolutely not necessary. This is payback for introducing us to Lime Creek Road. There will be plenty of opportunities in the future to lead us on some adventures around Austin.

Good news, Mike! I'm just glad you have your Z to drive out there

super stoked to drive a GT-R. As fun as it would be, I'm fine with not driving my own Z - I'm not sure how long I'd last without an oil cooler anyway

hrmmm...

I know it's not necessary - just another way to express my gratitude aside from saying, "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, " etc...

Meant to mention this before - you are going to have a LOT OF FUN riding with Matt! He races motorcycles and is pretty fast in go kart. He's a VERY accomplished driver.
