I'm a Planning & Scheduler for a gov't contractor. I sit at at desk, in a cubicle, and answer phones, emails, and facilitate conference calls. Sometimes I feel like Milton from "Office Space".....so far they haven't moved me to the basement or taken my stapler, tho!

Ok, that's too ironic! We just had an unplanned fire alarm test not more than 20 minutes ago!

Oh, and going down 12 flights of stairs with a bum foot....ain't fun!

I've been working at this building for 2 1/2 years and we have yet to have a fire drill. I'm on the 9th floor so stairs is not that bad for me....but then again I don't have a bum foot.

We have them at least every couple of months. Unfortunately, it's to the point when we hear it we all look around and say: Anyone gonna leave this time?
