Part of the amazing energy in that whole album due to the discordances, distortion, and odd blending of instruments -- and Bowie took all of that out.
He even removed the xylophone from "Penetration", which was very unusual, distinctive, and created a neat contrast to what is otherwise a very gritty and passionate song.
But, Bowie is immortal, and a demigod of some sort (and possibly the supreme ruler of the Guild of Calamitous Intent), so I suppose I have to just let it go...

I think there's a variation on that of his called "Iraq Lobster" too
Although Peter's all-time best song has gotta be "Cowboy Butt-Sex"

jordo..."sticky" jis came out (remastered/double-sided-extra tracks-versions, incl. some from "bleed") last tues. for only $15...i keep digging into amazon's deep jungle japanese treasures (expensive) but this is a quality release, it's own damn 'merican self...
