Facebook BS guilt trips

yeah some of that crap is annoying just like chain letters i never forward that stuff and wonder what is wrong with ppl who send me that stuff . im only friends with ppl i actually know so i dont have a gazillion friends and less bs to show up on my newsfeed . one thing that really annoys me is facebook putting crap on my feed as a suggestion and then when i hide it or mark it as spam they say tell us what you like and im looking at the screen going wtf i already have a **** load of things i like you a-holes

It's pretty easy to hide that crap from your feed. Just click to the right of the post and hide....it then has the option to select what updates you receive from that person. No one gets offended you unfriended them and you don't have to see that crap in your feed. It's usually the same annoying person(s) anyways. I only really use FB to share pictures with family and friends.

Those guilt "like this" "share this" post are usually started to annoy the gullible and OCD...just say'n.

Also, FB doesn't really work well if you have sh**y friends to begin with. That's the reason why a lot of people I know don't even bother.

I agree with everyone else here. I deleted my account a year ago and I will never have one again.

I deleted everyone i had no interaction with for a year, then i took everyone else and divided them up into groups of people. now i only see what i want to see in my news feed, and when i want to check up on the others i just clip on those groups.

There are a lot of good things on face book, like vendor pages/sports, the rest you just put where they belong so you dont see them. twitter on the other hand #frigginstupid

shoot i almost forgot.

I treat facebook like a newspaper. I skim it for things that look interesting and skip what doesn't.
