The unlit cream color is not ideal, I agree. I wish they were naturally the frosted white color that my LEDs make them. But for whatever reason, I dislike the pattern on the clear lenses. I like the smooth frosted look over the patterned look more than I do the clear over the frosted cream color. Different strokes for different c0cks folks
