You should drive to the dealership with the replacement steering lock and necessary tools for replacement. Do the replacement in the pickup/drop off lane of the service department (be sure to show them the part you are using to confirm it is Rev D). Either while you're doing the replacement or as your finishing (depends how long it takes to reach her), have the dealer get your NNA canned response lady on the phone. Show tech that steering wheel locks by locking the steering wheel. If the steering lock does not fail (LOL), pull the fuse while you have the tech confirm to NNA that the ESCL is correctly installed so they can give you refund money for another mod for your storage bin :bowrofl:

This was supposed to be an in-and-out type thing, with me basically telling them what to do (which I did). Now their big cheeses are reaching out to the higher-ups in my company so they can get me long-term. What the heck?!?!?!

All these Marriott and Delta and National Car points and credit card points are groovy and everything, but when does one get to reap the rewards of busting one's hump, tackling client issues, getting all heroic and stuff?

Plus I thought I'd be here all day so my flight home is not until 530. Hmmm...

It's a dilemma. I could do some "follow-up research" and bill a couple more hours or go goof off at LAX -- maybe go shopping in the duty free store.

Anyway...

Have a great day.

 charge 'em. End of story:tup: you wouldn't be there if they hadn't insisted
Just MHO ;)

only in china is fixing rats more profitable than just slicing up a bigger animal. lol :icon17:

hi there LMB! how's your garage coming along? :D

yah, it sucks but they're going to do the cleaning in the coming weeks, and the painting itself is supposedly only going to take 2wks... but if weather craps out, then obviously will take longer. :ugh:

Hi Ken the garage is good all I have left to do is the floor, build a wood work bench (already have the material) and buy some shelving to start bring up stuff from basement. I have been so busy at work that I am not doing any more until this job wraps up.

Hope the painting gets done quicker, more like one week! Then you are not out as many good weather days for the Z or G :driving::tup:

:hello: Mike!

I've got some family stuff on Sat and probably need to work some as well. But on Sunday, I'm scheduled to meet with a tuner for the first time regarding the new ECUtek software. I get to be his street Z guinea pig (they've been working on a track Z already). Free tune + license at cost = $175 :happydance:

LMBmikeZ 05-03-2013 05:00 PM

Me to! I think I will have time towards the end of the month
