Oil Change: Done
Rear View Cam Install: Done

It's been a productive day.

Up next, plasti-dip the emblems and give the headlights a polish.

It's actually quite impressive, they made the car wider by 2", but hip room decreased? :ugh2:

front and rear leg room though are up, overall length is slightly longer, head room decreased in front, increased in rear

Good, they want to filter out the taffyapples and hippos drivers....

right, Mr.kenchan??

I got the same ones, but I color matched the emblem and the backing Gun Metallic  Four months later, I still just need to install them :icon17:

Shaved emblems are :yum: If I wasn't running stock bumpers with the indentations for them, I would have bought his. I kinda of wish I had ordered the chrome Z emblems instead so I could have tried out the Shadow product on them. But I think I'll be plenty happy with them color matched (especially once I do the door handles, too).

Does it not have another nut on it that you can use to tighten it where it's horizontal?

I'll have to recheck the box that it was sent in but I'm pretty sure it wasn't included.

Then just run by any hardware store, and get a bolt to put on the post.

You insert it in all the way, and then when it's as far in, bring it back out till it's level. Then tighten the bolt down to the base.

Well another thing we considered was that the license plate might end up scraping the lip when installed. It got pretty damn close to the bottom fang area before it was tightened all the way....

Pint, I think he means you adjust it at the rusted bolt to straighten it out. Might as well clean it up at the same time.

Remove the screw thats secures the bracket that holds the plate. Reapply lock tight to the screw, position bracket (how ever you want your plate situated), reinstall screw. Enjoy your horizontal plate. That's what you have to do when you buy it new. The threads for your toe hook are obviously different than the last vehicle.
