A clay pigeon is what you are refering to. But god I hope I never have to shoot a clay bigger than a bird bath, that might need a little more than a shotgun.

Cymbal could be a good call depending on Cave's thought of how big a bird bath is.

Depending on how big it really is, and I don't knowhow or if it could be launched, but maybe like a pond or small pool lining?

If you look closely at the top of the shed you can just barely see the "launchers" arm as he tossed the 4 ft. dish while I was busy snapping the photos.
