My buddy actually had some problems with his snowboard attachment when we were in Tahoe for the bachelor party. He wound up with some really funny video after the camera came off and went rolling down the mountain at pretty high speed when landing a jump. As it was an adhesive mount, I'm pretty sure he did not properly clean the snowboard or mount surface prior to installing the double sided adhesive pad. We're going to go over a way for him to fix it properly when he is in town at the end of them of the month for his brother's wedding

I would think most of the issues with people losing their gopro's is 99% user error. From what I hear the suction cup mount really "sucks"
