Long discussions today with a client about the ins and outs of a "lean" versus a work order-based approach to production execution in their factories. I am hoping to "wow" them a little with my knowledge and experience in such things so that they ask me to be on their consulting team long term. These guys make ammo, among other things, in a huge way and it would be pretty cool to work with them.

today was ok, started late... got to work, had to goto the base theater for a squadron wide piss test..

spent 2.5 hours waiting.. BUT! I found out some awesome news... got something delicious coming up for the Z

checking in after dinner, wishing this day would all go away.

I am just glad I work hourly, because today I spent my whole day moving things rather then continuing to instal new stuff

frustrating regardless of hourly or salary
