I put a second coat of wax on the 240z and detailed the interior of the 370 today.

OOPS -- on-topic.

This one is like the Craftsman I have! It used to belong to my Grandfather before he passed.

I honestly almost bought something like that (inexpensive), but I went with one of the more modern manual ones (~$90). I love all the old tools that I inherited from my dad's parents after they sold their house and moved into a retirement home about three years ago

:iagree: old tools are good in so many ways! They definitely don't make things like they used to.

Good evening Mr. Alcheng :hello:

Sounds excellent! I'm going to go invert myself for a few minutes as it really helps my back.

After ruling out one particular lens as dirty because the same spot appeared with any lens while staking an out-of-focus shot of a blank, white wall, I decided it had to be the sensor.
I ran the camera's sensor cleaning utility, and then I locked up the mirror and puffed some air onto the sensor with the squeezy thing in my cleaning kit to clear any dust or particles that were hanging out on the sensor.
That did the trick.
You'd think these things were assembled in a sterile environment?

I only used a polishing pad and Meguiar's Ultimate Compound, so I will use a compound pad and the rubbing compound first next time before following up with the polishing compound using a polishing pad (maybe borrow a friend's random orbital, too).

I remember this time a few years back when I was coming home from the airport very late at night. I was hungry and did not think I had anything in the house, so I stopped at a Safeway (grocery store). It was probably after midnight.

Anyway, I picked up some frozen dinner or something and I went and got in the only available line to check out. I was half dazed as i stood in line and my gaze fell upon the peopel in front of me and the stuff they had on the conveyor belt. They were a seemingly nice couple, but there was only three things they were purcahsing. A gallon sized bottle of Wesson Oil, A 1.75 liter bottle of Jose Cuervo and a tube of "personal" lubricant.

They caught me looking at their stuff and smiling to myself as I pondered their plans for the evening. All I could do was say "have a good night" to them.
