My garage isn't heated either. I have a few ir heaters but they use so much power it wastes too much electricity. :ugh2: I don't like taking things apart when cold cause bits are prone to crack.

Sounds good. If you decide to paint it, duplicolor engine enamel is very strong against chips. I painted a few bits on my old fit, went through 4 winters and barely any chips. :D

I find I am always cleaning/sweeping mine to. I can't wait to be done my drywalling so I can finish the floors.just one more coat of mud, sand and paint.
