Hoping to finish up the GT Mat install today so I can actually start putting the car back together. I felt kinda like Gale when he started doing the steering wheel removal and it was just so easy that he removed his entire dash - the plastic pieces just keep coming out even if only to give me an extra 2" of clearance to lay down some material :icon17:

You would be surprised some of the stuff I see in the magz lately, sure some of the cover pages have had some nice cars and done up with lots of sponsorship. But there has also been a lot of ones that make me :icon14: when I look through it. I have a subscription to two of them and sometimes I am disappointed :shakes head:however I got the 2 year subscriptions at at show for like $10 so it doesn't really matter, not like I wasted any real amount of money :ugh2:

:ugh2: I do not recommend anyone who is OCD to do an install like this. I also will never do this type of install myself again. It is tedious and somewhat back-breaking. I had to take lots of breaks when my knees or back started hurting (yes, I'm a 30 year old with a 12 year old's mind and a 70 year old's body apparently :icon17:). I probably have ~12 hours into the install thus far over four days. I have one more square left, and then I will clean all the panels before reinstalling them. I won't have anything to complain about because I'm very happy with the install, I didn't pay hardly anything for the materials (thanks Tracie! :tiphat:), and I don't have much in the way of expectations. My biggest hope is that Tracie gets some usable audio/video for marketing :tup:

Gonna finish up here in a bit and then will update the album and post some pics :)

Sucks though cause I know I have OCD tendencies and will probably have some of the same issues as JAR when I get around to doing mine.....
