OK now I'm pissed. I decided to clean my hood with water real quick to see of the spot would clear up. It didn't. So I proceeded to inspect that portion of my hood for further evidence of a defect and wouldn't you know that I found two more spots! Who wants to see crappy pictures?

One spot looks like a water drop under the clear coat, the other looks like tiny craters. Look at where the light reflection is on the car.

polished bright is nice.....

it's real easy to do on mine since i swapped the unit already once. i have regular metric screws holding the unit (instead of security bolts) and i have a mini ratchet in the car so it's a 5min swap.

ms.pint- is this like a water stain? would scratch-x and foam pad take care of it?

if not too big, you can use kiwi shoe polish applicator like this to apply. it's what i use when i do spot polishing.
