Okay, okay....after the overwhelming landslide of requests (the beautiful and charming ms. pint and my good buddy from the Sunshine State mr. happy), here are some pictures comparing the badges with the original, cheesy faux carbon fiber cardboard backing plates and my gun metallic replacements.

The second picture is a side-by-side comparison of the two backings on my hood. Note that the gun metallic piece hasn't been buffed-out so it looks a little dull. Once it's all done, I'll shoot some pictures.

Super, super easy project.
