Like Mr. Onzedge I am a PSS believer. The best street summer tire available, IMO. Sure there are some more hardcore options that have more dry grip but none can blend the same dry/wet performance, ride quality, and longevity like the PSS can. Worth every penny.

The trouble I'm having right now is finding a winter setup that will work with my OEM wheels. OEM is 215/245. I'm thinking about doing 205/225 or 205/235. Whichever gets me closest to the F/R height split.

Running on medium right now, but that is because I use windowed mode with a lot of other progs running on my left and right monitors. There is no widescreen support at the moment.

Rig:

- Core i7-2600K @ 4.5GHz
- ASUS P8Z68-V/Gen3 mobo
- 16GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3-1600 (4x4gb)
- 2X 2GB Sapphire 6950 Dirt3 Edition cards

The game is really taxing. Sometimes FPS can drop a lot in big battles. But I know windowed mode is probably the worst way to play for system performance.

You should also consider some reasonably priced 4GB video cards that are basically two cards in one (two separate GPU chips a big ol fat board). There are a lot of things to consider when purchasing a video card that depend on your usage. But a single card can be a big factor with big box brand setups or people that don't have gigantic cases, though you need to pay attention to the length of some of the more burly cards that are like 14"+ long.

m4a1mustang 12-08-2012 12:21 AM

Nice looks like I can get 205/225 Pirelli Sottozero winters mounted and balanced for $700.

I figured I would need more. my Christmas self gifts include gopro3, a Dslr and I already do music production. I need a machine that can keep up with that. my current PC is weak and barely can handle the music production.

Good morning. :hello:

Dropped the S off at Honda for service. Just had breakfast and am about to get ready to go out to our MAZOC meet today. We're having lunch at an awesome sushi buffet.

Also, I love the new Taylor Swift.

Who am I kidding... I've always loved Tay Tay. :yum:

 I never did follow up regarding our family friends that had their Audi stolen from the dealership when they dropped it off overnight for service. Apparently, someone broke into the night drop box and a total of three cars were stolen. They found the Audi being slept in by homeless people a little over a week ago (I cannot confirm whether it was used as a 'homeless soup kitchen' :barf:). Basically it was fvcking disgusting, and the dealership is looking at putting her in a new car at no charge  She's in a rental while the dealership and corporate work out everything.

I know I would not even consider it. They said the dealer has been super cool about and incredibly remorseful since nothing like this has ever happen at their dealership before. I'm glad they're not having to fight it. Imagine a 6' tall, 200+ lb two year old throwing a temper tantrum and you will have an idea of the kind of fit I would throw if they didn't put me in a new car at no cost to me.

Just got the call that my tires are ready. After the cruise this morning, I'll go get them mounted and then head over to NTB for an alignment. My quandary is this: I have incredibly bald tires (down to the wear bars) and was planning on taking the cruise easy just to be on the safe side - now that I know my tires are ready, should I push it and roast the $hit out of them on the curves?

No, I'm gonna be tight on time as it is now that I have to squeeze in tire mounting at Discount and an alignment at NTB. Plus I want to run that other road with brand new tires :icon17:
