 have fun with it but carefully-it would suck big time if the tires allowed you to slide off the road...no Z no need for new tires:tup: push it bro -hella fun - but keep it on the road!!!

And therein lies the problem. Plus there's absolutely zero shoulder on this road, and in a lot of places its either 6-12" steep sloped drop off or tree-line. Not much room for mistakes, so I'll probably just push a little. Plus Ms. Pint doesn't push her car on the curves and I just found out it's only gonna be me and her cruising after our third Z just bailed :ugh2: Whatever, it's still :driving:

Ok, just checked with a thin layer of Vaseline and a clean sheet of paper and I've determined that the Z1 struts do touch a teensy bit. I'm not really gonna worry about it because, from what I can see, it's really really minimal. I don't see any marks on the plastic. Zman8, how long before you started to see marks? You just bought those, right?

Installed them 2 days ago. No driving done. The marks appeared on a raised plastic section just behind where the foam looking material is. I can see the hood struts have started indenting this piece. Tonight im going to see if I can get creative and stick a video camera inside the engine bay to film this

Is weird here right now. We have patches of sun and fog here right now.

kenchan 12-08-2012 01:37 PM

happy saturday everyone. :hello:

got up this am had to clean my fridge's coils as it was having a hard time cooling. i took the front finisher off as usual and took a look inside (this is a new fridge i got in the summer.. and now 6th month, this is the first time looking inside this one). wtf to maytag, there's like 8 layer of coils behind each other and i can only reach the front one with my vac.

knowing my wife recently went shopping for us, i couldn't let the food just spoil... so i put all the dishes away in the kitchen, went into my garage, pulled my shopvac, and in BLOWER mode :icon17: shot it to hell.

yah, it was snowing in the kitchen but everything is clean. :p and the pos fridge is finally starting to cool again after about 5hrs. i guess the rule of thumb is before you buy, check how accessible the coils are under and behind the unit. if i wouldve known this, i would've bought a different brand.

We need to upgrade the bolts Ms. Pint has for her seat raise mod (need at least grade 5). I'll probably have to go to a specialty store as Lowe's and Home Depot don't appear to carry the ones needed :ugh2:

If one wants to waste money and lives over your ideology or religion, then I guess war makes sense.

I'm sorry, but I can't agree with you on the LG appliances. We've had a couple of problems with ours: leaking water in refrigerator and freezing up in the freezer (I.e. Huge blocks of ice). :ugh2:

Pintsize725 12-08-2012 03:32 PM

Um is it possible for your car to look worse after a clay bar? :icon14:

Only did the front bumper, doors, a pillar, side skirts, hatch and rear fenders. It all feels smooth but I was really hoping to get rid of some marks. No dice. Lots of tiny spots disappeared but it also seems like a lot of different ones appeared afterwards.

Oh and I'm over it. Stupid hatch has a cracking paint spot like the hood.
