Top Gear's STIG revealed!

So did anyone catch Season 13 Episode 1? Great clip of the Stig driving the Ferrari FXX and then he takes his helmet off and reveals himself during an interview.

I won't ruin the FXX's lap time or who the Stig is. Watch for yourself...if you're into both the show and car racing, you'll love it.

this is a repost i beleive....it's old news to me

that's not really the stig....it was said at the very end of the show

^Nogood is correct. It is a repost and Michael Schumacher is not the Stig it was a joke. It was the bombshell at the end of the show , that he is not the Stig.

Rewatching....standby. The rest of the episode bored me to tears so I just watched the FXX run and the interview. Fast-forwarding to the end...

Well...

A little google searching revealed a few things. First, Perry McCarthy is NOT the current Stig. Per Wikipedia, McCarthy revealed his identity in his autobiography and was booted from Top Gear after two seasons (he was the black Stig). The current Stig is apparently some race driver who never quite made it to F1 racing...name not revealed. Another source says Top Gear has 8 different drivers who play the Stig.

Thus, the Ferrari FXX's top time on the list is absolute bull****. Schumacher drove his own black FXX for the show...it's not a big surprise that one of the best F1 drivers of all time would set the fastest lap. He essentially beat the best time of a schmuck Stig who never made it to F1 racing. Schumacher in the Gumpert may post an even faster lap than the FXX.
