Probably trying to beat a ticket after passing a cop at 80 or something all the other causes of unattended acceleration were driver error or intentional after the actual cars were tested and no fault was found.
Even the guy claiming he found a fault was not credible. What they need to put in all cars is the ability for the police or service to stop the car just incase they get an idiot that is unable to stop the car using the countless methods available. I know new GM cars from 2007 on can be found via GPS and stopped by Onstar. So incidents like this don't happen, also acts as a great low-jack as well. |
