I think if I didn't already own the P2000SK (which is what I carry) I probably would have gone for the P30 myself. I use the P30L for shooting at the range, which is perfect since it is a variant 3 (decocker, ambidextrous controls, SA hammer).

Subsonic ammo (which also doesn't cycle the action) can make even an SBR AR-15 really dead quiet, but then it's about as ballistically useful as .22LR, so you might as well just use that. I bought a couple boxes from an ammo mfg here in TX once, never even finished shooting those. |
