I can get 30-06 ammo all day, but can't find any 308 or 223. I really don't want to tote around a 1903A3 Springfield bolt action, but.....I can take out targets 600 to 1000 yds away....:yum: The recoil is a bit much for my skinny butt.... :icon14:

Buckle up, boys... it's likely to get bumpy over the next 2 weeks or so. :icon17:

My academy had a decent amount of both 308/223 last week. The 308 wasn’t the weight my scope is dialed in at, so I passed.

I run 165gr bullets in my 308, so I figure anything from 150 to 180 will just be a 'hold over or under' from where it's zero'd at.

At the risk of being crass, anywhere in a 10" circle on a silhouette target will be lethal.... :wtf2:

I agree there, but I currently have it sighted for one specific hunting round. I like to keep it there, but yes, a little up or down and you are good. Of course if you are within 200yrds it ain’t going to make much of a difference anyway.

This election is becoming more and more important.
ATF looking to go full retard on AR/AK pistols and more.
Stay vigilant!

Read about it somewhere else. The ATF wants to make them SBR's.

If I read the article right they want to turn them into AOWs which is still a NFA item. I guess people who are saying SBR think if you have to go NFA might as well go SBR than AOW considering the paper work. The only advantage to going AOW is the stamp is $5 instead of $200.

I have a Taurus 627 at home, I only bring it when I go hiking with friends.

I have the 608. Not a bad revolver. The center pin did get stuck once and had to go back to Taurus. They fixed it for free. Seems to be a common issue with Taurus revolvers.

AOW was what I understood also. I have a M4 adjustable stock and a full length 300 blk upper, so I guess I'm swapping stocks and stashing a pistol upper. :ugh2:
