Here we go again....:shakes head::shakes head:

We bought our first home a single wide mobile home in 1985. It was $15,500 and the interest rate was 15. Stick mortar homes were like 12.

That sounds about like what my parents told us. We moved into our first purchased home in Houston around that time (83/84ish). Remember mom telling me interest was like 12%.

Get it now while the interest rates are at historic lows.

I'm good. I bought mine 2 years ago.

I just have to deal with my mortgage company calling me every month wanting me to refi.... :ugh2:

Yep mine is at 3.5 so it is pretty close for me to look at it at 2.5 but part of me just doesn't want to deal with the hassle.

My rate is higher, but it is a $0 down VA loan. If I refi, it will only save about $200 a month, but dividing the savings into estimated closing costs leaves me with a break even point of about 15 months down the road. No thanks.

It would be worthwhile if the break even point was 6 months on a 15 year note, but I don't have 30% equity to get the best rate. :ugh2:

We’re locked in at 3.125% and on the 15 yr plan. Kid will be in college and I’m gonna retire.

How's is it fear mongering? Have you checked to see what is left on the shelves? Have you checked the prices on gun broker?

Seen that. It's old news. Other manufactories are having a materials shortage. This came out the other day. ADG can't get brass to make the casings. Some stuff will not be made until 2022. Lead is in short supply a long with other materials.

We have the perfect storm. A pandemic that caused shortages in manpower, materials, delivery. Riots. Anti gun president. 5 million new gun owners for 2020. Plus the gov't contracts.

I put 0 down on a FHA loan over 10 years ago. Refinanced 3 times in the first 6 years of ownership. From 5% down to 2.75% (also went from 30 yr to 25 to 20 to 15). Rolled closing costs into financing each time so never paid a dime out of pocket. Saved over 10K in interest costs over the life of the loan each refi.

Should have bought ammo instead lol

Hopefully, mid summer things should loosen up. But if the person in the high tower has his way. There won't be a firearms industry in this country anymore. Remington went bankrupt, and got bought out. Think this is the 2nd time in the last few yrs. Colt is in the process of being bought by a foreign company.

Holly chit!!!!!! I bought a box of 20 rounds of 285gr Hornady match for my 338 LM in Dec for $103.00. Looked today for the same thing online. $173.99. Talk about inflation. :icon14:
