Speaking of 1911 mags, any of you guys willing to part with some of your old/worn out 1911 mags? Been wanting to make some speed loaders for my .45ACP Ruger Blackhawk. My plans were to buy some "officer" 6 round mags cut down the spring and mod the feed lips to make them easier to use as SAA revolver speed loader. TBH I'd rather mod some worn out mags than brand new ones.

I know I don't have any worn out 'officer' mags, that one is still going strong. I'll poke around and see if I've got some 1911 ones that I've swapped springs & followers on and that didn't fix em. I'll PM you with the results.

Anyone need AR-10 mags? I've got two 20-rd(?) ones left over after my dad swapped his AR-10 for a bolt gun. One's metal and one's polymer.

True, but it's going to be awhile until the next gun show. :shakes head:
Hope this virus burns out soon.

Not much into guns as I once was many years ago. Keep a loaded 38 special behind my pillow and a 40 cal auto right under the bed. I have just too many rifles to list. However I need to take a pictures to show you guys a really cool pistol that belonged to my dad. It's a 4 barreled darringer. It's pretty cool.

My brother in law has one. Has a rotating firing pin.

Whew.... good 1911 mags are hard to come by. I've been going through mine and half are shot. :shakes head:

Now comes the fun part, finding good springs and followers to fix them....:icon14:

I like the Wilson Combat mags for my 1911.

I do too. I started buying those when my old issue 45 mags started flaking out. I could fix some with new springs and followers, but I'm sure I have 3 or 4 that are just awful.

I have mags from just about everyone. I keep going back to the Wilson's.

I know the feeling. Well a least you will be $1200 closer.

Actually, I have 3 scopes I'm thinking about selling. Might get off my butt an actually try to sell them. Keep forgetting I still have them.
