For priming the cases. I have 2 RCBS case primers. One set up for small primer, and the other for large primer.

I've been using the Lee Auto-prime... well, it's more semi-auto I suppose. I've worn out several of the arms that go between the thumb lever and the primer post...

I really need to find a better media than the green corn cob for cleaning cases. After about priming 500 rounds, my fingers are black... :ugh2:

I have 3 RCBS powder measures. A Little Dandy, and 2 Competition Powder Measures. The Little Dandy, I use for pistol. The 2 other measures are set-up for small rifle, and the other for large rifle.

For cleaning the cases. I've gone from the Lyman 1200 tumbler with corn cob, to walnut. To now using the Hornady Ultra Sonic.

Read about the new tumblers using stainless steel pins and soapy water for cleaning. It's got some nice reviews on it.

10 grand. You better be selling that ammo coming out of it.

I like the Lyman primer better. I think the RCBS was jamming up on me IIRC

I just use the Harbor freight tumbler with crushed walnut. Its pretty messy and I dont like having to clean the cases afterwards. Theyll jam my resizing die if I dont clean the dust off well. Might go with the pin tumbler

There is a technic on using the RCBS primer tool.

With the Ultra Sonic. I dump the cases in there. Set the timer for 30 minutes, and temp at 140F. After they get done there. I put the cases in the Hornady dryer. 30 minutes and their done. Ready for the next step. No dust involved, and no digging media out of the primer pockets.

One of the problems I heard about the pin tumblers are the pins remaining in the cleaned cases.

Just like the corn cob. You have to shake the case to get the pins out.

For those VA folks. Can you give me the quick run down on conceal carry laws? Texas has reciprocity with VA and just curious if there are any weird laws. Also is there a mag size limit?
