Only for bulk stuff. I can still go to my normal place and order hunting Ammo at regular price. Guess people don’t rush to buy **** that is over a dollar a trigger pull.

For the reloaders... How much is your cost per round for each caliber?
IIRC I'm at 17 cents for 223, 9 cents for 45 and 49 cents for 30-06

Lets break this down.

Powder. 1 lb of powder equals 7000 grs. So divide 7000 by the number of grs in your reload. Then divide the cost of a lb of powder by the number you got from before. Ex 7000 divided by 20 = 350. Cost of powder 29.49 divided by 350 = .084257142, rounded to .084. That's your cost per round.

Primers, $32.99 for a box of 1000. 0.033 each. Used this for each reload below.

.223 AR 15
.223 69gr Sierra Matchking bullets $29.99 box of 100. $.299 each.
Powder, AR Comp. $29.49lb. 7000gr per lb. 20gr per round. $.084 per round
Primer $.033 + bullet $.299, + powder $.084 = $0.416 per round.

45 ACP
45 230 gr round nose bullet. I cast my own. Free.
Powder, Unique. $23.99 lb. 7000 gr per lb. 5 gr per round. $.017 per round.
Primer $.033 + powder $.017 + bullet free = $0.05 per round.

.338 Lapua Magnum
.338 300gr Sierra Matchking bullets $47.99 for a box of 50. $.960 each.
Powder. RL26. $28.49 lb. 7000gr per lb. 100gr per round. $.40
Primer $.033 + bullet $.960 + powder $.40 = $1.39 per round.

New Lapua Brass 338 Lapua Magnum Box of 100 is $259.99. This would screw with the numbers.

That's about where I'm at on my stuff. I haven't bought powder in a long time.I might have to get some since Midway is offering no hazmat fee for orders on qualifying powder & primers over $150.

Don't think you'll have much luck getting powder from Midway. Most of their powder is out of stock or on back ordered. Unless you want some odd ball powder.

I use BL-C2, IMR4895 or W748 for my .223, Unique or Bullseye for the .45, IMR3031 for my .32 Win Special & .30-30. I can't remember what I use on everything else. I want to say Unique is my go-to for most pistol calibers, Bullseye if I'm loading 38 HBWC. Rifle is mostly the ones listed. I've not tried AR comp or RL26.

Midway is just down the road in Columbia, so I might just take a Z trip down when things calm down a bit. Hodgdon is here in KC and it's literally over the hill from where I live...:yum:

45 is Unique. Smaller pistol I use Bullseye. Magnums, I use 2400 mostly. I just started to use AR Comp a couple of years ago for the AR. 243, and up. I'm all over the place with powder. Ram Tac is another good powder for the AR.

Midway closed their store front. Everyone is now in shipping. This is from the email I got from them.

Ive used BLC2 for 223 before, but I like AA2230 its cheaper and the loads require less powder, but theyre hard to find. Whenever I see it in stock, Ill clear out their invenory..lol. IMR 4895 is what I use for my Garand loads. I dont like having too many different powders. I use cheap Hornady FMJ, bought like 1800 223 from Midway when they had a good sale... free shipping..

If anyone is in the Pheonix area, stop by Bruno's Shooter Supply. They have pretty good prices on supplies.
