In this picture are my cast bullets. Want to know how many bullets fit into a 3lb coffee can? Cans weight about 50 lbs full. From left to right. 125gr RN 9mm with gas check. 155 gr 38/357 SWC with gas check. 180 gr FP 40/10mm. 225 gr 44 SWC with gas check. 240 gr 44 with gas check. 200 gr 45 TC. 230 gr 45 RN.

Nice. I'm not a coffee drinker though, so that one I don't know. I started off using those reloading plastic tubs, and realized that wouldn't cut it. Eventually moved to ammo cans.

Found out if you stack the bullets neatly you could get an extra 150 bullets per can in them:

However since I hadn't been doing that for quite some time, the wife was ready to shoot me by the end of the day (those weren't all the cans we had to organize unfortunately)....

I'm sure it's probably overkill, but all of them have bags of silica gel in them as well. Then all the cans are dated, so I shoot the oldest stuff first.

The stainless pins is a tumbler. You have to mix cleaner with the pins. Rinse and dry. About the same amount of time as the vibrator. The ultra sonic. You have to mix a couple oz of cleaner with water. Distilled works the best. No spots. 2 types of cleaner. Brass and gun parts.

How much brass can you get out of the cleaner? Is it really that much better? I've sort of looked at them a few times but never pulled the trigger.

I've always used a capful of the Nu-Finish car wax in the tumbler with some torn up shop towels, and the brass comes out really pretty good looking, almost new most of the time.

I'm not a coffee drinker either. Got the cans when my dad was alive. You should of seen my basement for Y2K. Had over 30,000 loaded rounds.

Rusty , I grew up thinking everyone had shelves of coffee cans with ammo.

Since we were trap shooting every weekend we also had a pallet of 12 gauge , but so did everyone we right?

Guys at the gun club burn up a lot of powder shooting trap. I thought I kept a lot on hand. These guys buy powder in the 8 lb jugs, and a lot of them at one time.

We used to buy in small kegs back then doubt anyone sells that qty now. Used to run the auto loader with my dad so we had 400 rounds a weekend.

Like all hobbies we fall in love with , it can get expensive, cars , motorcycles , guns, women.

Did someone say guns!?!? :D

Put together this AR a few years ago and recently upgraded my LPK with a better trigger and some other internal parts. I have yet to go shoot the damn thing.

Not sure why it wouldn't resize my pics. I don't have that problem on any other site. Let me see if I can just attach the pics.

Ah, forget it. My browser is blocking uploads, and I'm not changing my security settings.
