Speaking of toys: I came across a Ruger Mark II Government model bull barreled .22. By serial number, it was manufactured about 1985 and doesn't look like it's been shot much. Condition is 98% or better. A friend of mine has it, and I'm researching it so I can give her a fair price for it. Best I can find so far is it should be in the range of $500 to $600.

My wait time went from 10 months to about 3-4 months

Ever since Trump got elected its been a buyers market. All the firearm manufacturers ramped up production in case Hillary won and now sales have dropped off due to people not being as concerned about bans and so on.

I think this is a great example of how capitalism works. The prices for guns and ammo have been a little 'overheated' the last 8 years, can you say 'no .22 anywhere until last November'? ;)

I think prices for both will come down considerably, maybe not down to pre 2008 levels, but down from the over-pricing we've seen in the past. I saw a beat up Ingram M10 that would have probably sold for north of $1K last year, go 'no sale' at $850 against a probably stupid reserve. By June or July, we will start to see more reasonable prices on our favorite toys.

Now if only the prices for our 4 wheel toys went down too...... :ugh2:

I'm looking at a Ruger PRP in 6.5 Creedmore. Waiting on the price to drop. Last year, they was asking full retail. Now, they're down to around a grand.

I'm remodeling the basement. So I moved my reloading bench out of the garage, into the basement. Have more room now, and all of my shooting stuff is in one spot. Have my new reloading area all set up now.

Once I get my permit, I'm just going to get the VP9 at first. My parents would have a **** fit if they saw me bring an AR-15 into the house so I gotta figure out what to do there.

The store I'm going to sells a VP9 with a third mag and night sights for $100 more than with just two mags. Worth it?

Yes! The night sights that H&K use MSRP at $115 and VP9 10 round mags are going for around $45.

shooting my glock after firing the Kimber feels like im playing with a cheaply made plastic toy. Love my kimber, even if the full size grip is a pain to conceal in the summer :D

I'm looking into reloading 45 acp and maybe 38/357. I never done this before and I was thinking about getting the Dillon XL 650. I heard a lot of good things about Dillon, but do you think it's a good one to get or should I start out with single stage press?

Also, any tips or websites you know that carry reloading products?
